How the team vote works

The short version: choose one character every 30 minutes. The character with the most voting blocks joins the team. After five rounds, the two teams are complete.

  1. Sign in and link your paid Patreon membership. You need a website account connected to an active paid membership of The AI Guy. Free membership can watch, but cannot vote.
  2. Pick one character, then confirm.Your tier gives your choice 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 voting blocks. All your blocks back that one character. You do not split them across candidates.
  3. Each round closes at its scheduled time. The highest weighted total wins. That character joins the team and leaves the next round’s pool. The next vote opens automatically.
  4. Come back for the next pick. You get a fresh choice each round. Earlier votes do not carry forward. You can join midway through the event and change your current choice before its deadline.
  5. The last choice completes both teams.Round five assigns one of the last two characters to Team A. The other joins Team B automatically, so there is no pointless sixth vote.

Your tier’s voting blocks

Example: a Demigod ballot adds 16 blocks to its chosen character. Changing that vote moves all 16 blocks; clicking again does not add another 16. Paid-tier changes apply when you reconfirm.

Team A gets the first captain choice, so Team B gets the next teammate choice. Both captains are chosen by the audience; they do not cast picks on your behalf.

Ties, empty rounds and missed windows

Equal top totals use a recorded draw between the tied leaders. If nobody votes, a draw picks from the remaining characters. Deadlines remain fixed. A late browser refresh takes you to the current round; it does not restart the timer or cast a missed vote.
